The Desert Duel - past, present, future.

The Desert Duel

What is masters water polo and where do you play after college? How does anyone know about this? Back in 2004 I was introduced to the desert duel.  I played and practiced all over southern California  as much as I could. With my brother by my side we were a force to be reckoned with.  After College, playing and practicing at Citrus college under the tutelage of Ralls and you know who, A. Rod.  I grew into a player that kept loving the game.  The desert duel and masters water polo was a fun and new journey I didn't know existed.

My first duel I came with KAOS a rag tag group of older players who always signed on a few young ringers.  Now team is siloed to a few players who keep the brand going, but in its hay day we brought the heat.

I now run the Desert Duel.  Moving to the Desert and loving water polo, I had to bring it back.  Covid stopped the world for a few years and no one know what it would look like after. Being in Phoenix where the world kept turning, I had no option, but to take on the challenge and bring back the Desert Duel.  In all its glory and beyond!

With so many who have come before and so many that ( Fingers crossed ) Will come after. I hope to be a meaningful blip in the time line of the growth of water polo in Arizona, American and the world.

Go Play Polo!
